George Kahumoku Jr., a four-time Grammy Award winning Hawaiian Slack Key guitarist, hosts his weekly show featuring traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music in a dignified concert setting, with Shem Kahawai’i co-hosting. And the lovely Wainani Kealoha dances hula. Some shows will feature other renowned Hawaiian musicians (Slack key guitar, ukulele, falsetto, or steel guitarists) to share traditional Hawaiian music with you. We will be there every Wednesday, doors open at 5:45 p.m. The show runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Maui at the Napili Kai Beach Resort.

The Slack Key Show takes place every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm.
The Slack Key Show is reopening in November 2023 after the Lahaina Fire Shutdown. Grammy-award winning Slack Key Guitar Master, George Kahumoku Jr, hosts the show along with the up-and-coming protégés playing the slack key style. Other shows will feature renowned Hawaiian musicians along with the beautiful Wainani Kealoha performing the hula. As always, the show's focus is on perpetuating the art of slack key guitar.
