Held in a covered, open-air pavilion at the beautiful Napili Kai Beach Resort, this weekly event offers an excellent cultural experience for visitors and locals alike.
Presented by four-time Grammy Award slack key guitarist George Kahumoku Jr., the show features masterful guitar playing, heartfelt storytelling, and the soothing rhythms of Hawaii. Hosting the evening is George’s talented protégé, Shem Kahawaii, with the elegant Wainani Kealoha performing hula that brings the music to life. Every show features the stars of slack key music—renowned, award-winning special guests who embody the spirit and talent of Hawaiian musical tradition.

Parking for Slack Key Show
- Drive past the Napili Kai Beach Resort and Merriman's restaurant.
- Turn right onto Kapalua Drive.
- Turn right into the tennis court parking lot.
- Scan the QR code with your phone to pay the $10 fee.
- Look for spaces on the street across from the lobby of the Napili Kai Beach Resort
- Be aware that street parking can be difficult to find, especially during the busy high season.
- Napili Kai Beach Resort parking lot: This lot is only for hotel and restaurant guests. You might consider going to Happy Hour at the Sea House Restaurant between 2 and 4.
- Merriman's parking lot: Valet parking here is available but will cost $40.
